BCM's Gunfighter Short Vertical Grip is one of those little upgrades that quietly changes how a rifle feels in your hands. It mounts directly to KeyMod handguards and keeps a low, compact footprint, so you get a solid index point without a chunky grip getting in the way. The forward-canted angle lines your wrist up naturally, which takes a lot of the strain out of a C-clamp hold when you're running the gun for a while.
The short profile is the whole point here. That stubby length cuts down on snag when you're moving through doorways, in and out of a vehicle, or working around gear, and it still gives your support hand plenty to grab onto. Flat sides paired with BCM's aggressive texture give you better yaw control during firing and non-firing manipulations, so the rifle stays where you put it. There's also a hollow storage cavity inside the grip body, handy for a spare battery, a bore snake, or whatever small odds and ends you like to keep on the gun.
Installation is tool-less. Spring-loaded clamps and BCM's anchor-and-bolt system let you unlock the slide-latch, drop the anchors into three KeyMod slots, and twist it down snug. The grip can run forward-canted or reversed, so you can dial in the hand position that fits your build and shooting style. This grip is built specifically for KeyMod-equipped handguards and mounts directly to the slots with no adapter needed. It requires three KeyMod attachment hole mounting points, so make sure you have a run of slots open where you want it. If your handguard uses M-LOK instead, you'll want the M-LOK version of this grip.
Installation is tool-less thanks to the spring-loaded clamps and anchor-and-bolt system. You unlock the slide-latch, seat the anchors into your chosen KeyMod slots, and twist it down until it's snug with no play. A dab of blue thread locker on the fastener isn't a bad idea if you want extra peace of mind.
Yes. It's designed to run either forward-canted or reversed, so you can set the hand position that suits your grip and how you carry the rifle. A lot of folks like the forward cant for a C-clamp hold, but the reverse orientation gives you more to pull against when grabbing the handguard and grip together.
