This BCM Gunfighter Lower comes fully assembled and ready to attach to your upper receiver. You get a complete lower that's built around practical features and battle-tested BCM components, so you're not starting from scratch with a pile of small parts.
The MK2 receiver extension is roughly three-quarters of an inch longer than a standard carbine tube, which pairs with the M16A4 rifle-length action spring to give you smoother cycling and more consistent performance. The MK2 buffer system is designed to reduce felt recoil without compromising the reliability you need when it matters. This isn't a compromise between comfort and function like some buffer systems force you to choose between. The internal counterweight design and harder-hitting spring mean your rifle cycles more predictably across different ammo types and conditions.
The lower receiver itself is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodized black. BCM mills these with tight tolerances, so fit with your upper should be clean. All the controls are marked SAFE and SEMI, and everything is already installed, including the polished nickel-Teflon trigger, enhanced trigger guard, and BCM's quality pistol grip.
The Mod-1 SOPMOD stock brings genuine utility to the platform. You get a storage compartment in the toe of the stock accessible through the butt pad, which is useful for keeping small essentials on hand. The stock features a pronounced cheekweld that's more comfortable than basic profiles, and the edges are rounded to prevent snagging on slings and kit. Multiple sling attachment options include both ambidextrous QD mounts and a modular VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab) for keeping your sling secure when you're not actively shooting. The rubber butt pad gives you solid contact with your shoulder.
