Born from an ongoing collaboration between Bravo Company and Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners, the GUNFIGHTER KAG-1913 packs a lot of real-world thinking into a small piece of polymer. The whole idea behind a kinesthetic angled grip is giving your support hand a consistent place to land, so you index the same way every time without looking. The forward rake works with a modern thumb-over-bore grip and pulls the rifle into your shoulder, which translates to steadier hold and quicker target-to-target transitions.
This is a slim, purpose-built grip rather than a big vertical foregrip. The slight angle adds just enough relief to the wrist and joints without ballooning the girth of your handguard, so it stays snag-free and comfortable through fast manipulation. It's textured on both the front and back, giving you positive purchase whether your hands are wet, sweaty, or gloved. A lot of folks run it as a straight-up hand stop up near the muzzle, and it does double duty there without complaint. Molded from high-strength, impact-resistant polymer and made in the USA, it feels solid in the hand without being heavy.
The standout feature is BCM's patent-pending Direct Mount Picatinny interface. Instead of the usual screw-and-backing-nut setup that most of the industry leans on, this one uses an anchor system that spreads clamping force across the mount for a genuinely rigid connection. You install it with a T15 Torx driver, snug it to roughly 18 to 20 inch-pounds plus a quarter turn, and it isn't going anywhere. It fits any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, and you can position it exactly where your hand naturally falls.
Whether you're building out an AR carbine, a pistol-caliber setup, or something like a CZ Scorpion, this is one of those small upgrades that punches well above its size. It's a favorite for good reason, and it works just as well on a range gun as it does on a duty build.
The KAG-1913 is built specifically for MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails and mounts directly to them with BCM's patent-pending anchor system. That means it'll clamp onto any standard Picatinny section, whether it's on an AR handguard, a shotgun, or a pistol-caliber platform. If your rail is M-LOK only, you'll want the M-LOK version of the KAG instead.
Absolutely. A lot of people run it forward on the rail near the muzzle purely as a hand stop, and it works great in that role. The forward rake and dual-side texturing give you a solid index point whether you're using it as an angled grip or a stop for a C-clamp grip.
You install it with a T15 Torx driver by extending the Picatinny anchor, sliding the grip onto the rail at your preferred spot, and engaging the recoil lug into a rail groove. Then tighten to roughly 18 to 20 inch-pounds plus a quarter turn and check that there's no forward or backward play. A dab of blue thread locker on the fastener is fine if you want extra insurance, just don't over-tighten.
