Bravo Company built the Gunfighter Grip Mod 3 around the way people actually run an AR today. Instead of the old squared-off bladed stance, most folks square up to the target now, and the reduced grip angle on this one keeps your wrist and trigger finger in line for better control and a hold you can keep comfortable through a long day. It's molded from impact-resistant polymer, made in the USA, and every grip gets test fit before it leaves the shop.
The Mod 3 is up to a quarter inch wider than BCM's Mod 0 and Mod 1 grips, so it fills the hand more and gives you a fuller, more planted feel. Up top you get a high-rise beavertail back strap that rides up over the web of your hand, and an extended forward tang closes the gap between the grip and trigger guard so there's no pinch point down low. The result is a grip that feels like it was shaped around a hand rather than pulled off a parts bin.
Inside the grip is a hinged trap door with a water-resistant rubber gasket, which is a handy spot to stash a spare CR123 battery, a bore snake, some lube, or small tools. The hinge means the door swings open instead of popping off and getting lost in the grass, a small touch that folks who've fought with pop-out floor plates tend to appreciate.
Installation is straightforward and the grip ships with a screw and lock washer, so you can swap it on with basic hand tools in a couple minutes. It drops right onto mil-spec AR-15 and AR-style lowers, and the Flat Dark Earth finish pairs up nicely with FDE-themed builds and components. For most people this is a simple upgrade that changes how the whole rifle handles.
It fits mil-spec AR-15 and AR-style lower receivers with no modification. Some billet or non-standard lowers, like certain Aero Precision receivers, may need the small front nub trimmed, which is a quick and easy adjustment. If your rifle uses a standard mil-spec lower, it drops right on.
The Mod 3 keeps the same reduced grip angle and high-rise beavertail back strap but runs up to a quarter inch wider than the Mod 0 and Mod 1.
