The BCM GUNFIGHTER Grip Mod 2 is Bravo Company's answer to how folks really run an AR these days. Instead of the old bladed stance with a locked-out elbow, most of us square up to the target now, and the reduced grip angle on the Mod 2 keeps your wrist in line with the trigger for better control and a more natural hold. It's also a touch beefier than the earlier Gunfighter grips, running up to a quarter inch wider than the Mod 0 and Mod 1, which puts it in the same fuller profile as the Mod 3. If you found the standard Gunfighter grip a bit thin, this one fills the hand a lot better.
The "modular" part is the real story here. The grip ships with interchangeable backstraps so you can tune the feel for different hand sizes and grip positions, plus front inserts that let you run either a smooth front strap or a duckbill that closes the gap between the grip and the trigger guard. That duckbill option is handy if you're running an extended or oversized trigger guard and want to get rid of that pinch point.
