This is Bravo Company's complete lower receiver group wearing a cosmetic blem tag, which means it left the line with a small finish imperfection but is functionally identical to a full-price BCM4. The receiver itself is machined from a 7075-T6 aluminum forging and hardcoat anodized to MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2, so it's the same rugged foundation BCM builds its reputation on. It ships fully assembled with the trigger group, buffer system, grip, and stock already installed and staked, so you just mate it to an upper and you're done.
The headline feature here is the BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 1 SOPMOD stock in Flat Dark Earth. It's a widebody design with a more pronounced SOPMOD-style cheek weld that a lot of folks find helps them settle in behind a red dot or LPVO. The stock runs a snag-free profile with no sharp edges to catch on a sling or gear, a storage compartment tucked into the toe under the buttpad, ambidextrous QD swivel sockets, and the VBOST sling tab for securing your sling when the rifle is slung. A built-in rubber buttpad keeps it planted on your shoulder.
BCM outfits this lower with their PNT trigger, which wears a polished nickel Teflon finish for a smoother, more consistent pull than a standard GI unit, and it's un-notched so it plays nice with 9mm builds too. You also get the BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 pistol grip for a more vertical, modern hand position, an enhanced trigger guard that leaves room for gloved fingers, and a low shelf that's ready for RDIAS or Accuwedge use. The receiver extension is BCM's mil-spec 7075-T6 tube running a USGI H buffer and carbine spring, capped with a staked castle nut and a BCM QD end plate. Fire controls are marked SAFE and SEMI, and the receiver is stamped Multi so it's ready for a range of chamberings depending on the upper you pair it with.
If you've been eyeing a BCM build but wanted to stretch your dollar, a factory blem lower is a smart way in without giving up any of the guts that matter.
Blem is short for blemish, meaning the receiver has a minor cosmetic flaw in the finish that BCM pulled from full-price stock. Everything under the hood is the same as a standard BCM4 lower, so it functions identically and carries the same build quality. You save some money for what usually amounts to a small mark you'd have to hunt for.
This SKU is the standard configuration with a mil-spec carbine receiver extension, USGI H buffer, and carbine action spring. It is not the MK2 Recoil Mitigation System version, which uses a longer intermediate tube and rifle-length spring and carries a different UPC. If you specifically want the A5-style MK2 setup, that's a separate item.
Any standard mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver will pin right on with the two takedown pins. Since the lower is marked Multi, your actual chambering is set by whatever upper you choose. Once it's mated, you've got a complete, functioning rifle with no extra parts needed.
The Mod 1 SOPMOD stock is a widebody design with a pronounced cheek weld and a storage compartment built into the toe, accessed through the buttpad. It's handy for stashing batteries, a bore snake, or small spares. You also get ambidextrous QD sling sockets and the VBOST tab for a clean sling setup.
