Mission First Tactical built the Battlelink Minimalist Stock around one idea: give a carbine everything it needs to function well without any of the extra bulk most stocks carry around. This version fits mil-spec 1.148 inch buffer tubes and comes in Scorched Dark Earth, a shade that a lot of owners say lines up closely with Magpul's FDE furniture if you're trying to match a build. It's made in the USA from a reinforced polyamide developed for military use, so it holds up to regular range time and hard use without adding weight you don't need.
MFT kept this stock under 6 ounces by trimming it down to the essentials, and it still manages to feel solid once it's mounted. The upper section is shaped to give you a real cheek weld instead of just a flat surface, and the toe is angled so the stock doesn't dig into your shoulder when you're wearing a plate carrier or heavier layers. It slides onto your existing buffer tube as a direct replacement for a standard collapsible stock, so there's no need to swap tubes or buffers to get it installed.
The angled, non-slip rubber buttpad is there to help you get the rifle up and settled into position quickly, even with body armor in the way. You'll find multiple sling slots along the body for single-point setups, plus a bottom-mounted quick detach sling swivel socket positioned so it works just as well for left-handed shooters as right-handed ones.
What sets this particular version apart is the adjustment lever, which doesn't rely on spring tension like the standard model. A roll pin is included so you can lock the stock into the position you want once you've found the length of pull that works for you, without needing to alter the rifle itself. It's a simple, no-frills way to run this stock if you're not planning on adjusting it on the fly, and it keeps the whole setup just as light and rattle-free as the original design.
This version is built specifically for mil-spec receiver extensions that measure 1.148 inches in diameter, and it will not fit commercial-spec tubes. If you're not sure which buffer tube your rifle has, it's worth measuring before ordering since the fit is snug by design.

This version of the Battlelink Minimalist Stock is not designed to work with the Battlelink Adjustable Cheek Piece. If a raised cheek weld for optics use is a priority for you, it's worth checking compatibility before you buy.
