The SMR, short for Single Mission Rifle, drops the multi-caliber barrel swap system and folding stock in favor of a fixed setup dedicated to one chambering. This one runs .300 Winchester Magnum through a free-floated 26-inch fluted barrel with a 1:8 twist, and it carries the same .75 MOA accuracy standard as the full MRAD. The result is a slimmer, lighter rifle that sheds roughly two and a half pounds compared to the standard configuration while keeping about 90 percent parts commonality with the original.
Don't let the word fixed fool you into thinking this stock is bare bones. The comb adjusts vertically without tools so you can dial in perfect eye alignment behind your optic, and it's reversible to suit either side of your face. Length of pull adjusts with spacers, so getting a proper fit is straightforward.
