The Banish 12 attaches using a mount that matches your shotgun's choke thread pattern, so it works across a wide range of popular guns. Mounts are offered for common patterns like Benelli Crio, Benelli Mobil, Beretta Optima HP, Browning Invector Plus, Mossberg Accu-Choke, Remington 870, and Remington Pro Bore. Extra mounts are available separately, which makes it easy to move one suppressor between several shotguns.
It reduces the report by up to 21 decibels, which brings most common 12 gauge loads down to hearing-safe territory. For reference, an unsuppressed 12 gauge runs around 160 dB at the muzzle, and testing with 3 inch #2 shot measured roughly 138 dB at the shooter's ear. It handles all standard 12 gauge shotshells from #8 shot up through #2, BB, BBB, 00 buck, and slugs with wads.
