It works equally well on bolt guns and semi-autos, and it carries a limited full-auto rating for good measure.
The modular design is where this can earns its keep. Run it full length at 8.17 inches with all 11 baffles and 12.4 ounces on the muzzle, and you get an average of 34.5 dB of sound reduction with .308, which is genuinely impressive for a titanium can this light. Pull the tube extension and three baffles and you drop to 6.4 inches and 9.5 ounces, a setup that makes a lot of sense in a shooting house, thick timber, or anywhere a longer can wants to snag on brush. Compared to the original Banish 30, the V2 comes in nearly an inch shorter and about 2 ounces lighter while still shaving off another half decibel.
The rear of the can is cut for the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB pattern, and it ships with a 5/8×24 direct thread mount installed. That means you can run it as-is on most .30 caliber rifles right out of the box, or pair it with just about any HUB-compatible quick-detach system or direct thread adapter on the market. Moving one suppressor across several rifles has never been simpler.
Unlike sealed cans, the 30-V2 is fully user serviceable. The CanClean design comes apart without a trip back to the factory, and the Stifle baffles can go back in any order, so there is no puzzle to solve at the cleaning bench. Add 100 percent American manufacturing and titanium's natural corrosion resistance, and you have a do-it-all can built to last a lifetime of trigger time.
It is rated for anything from .17 HMR up to .300 Weatherby Magnum, which covers most rimfire and centerfire rifle cartridges .30 caliber and under. You can, and that is one of its biggest advantages over sealed suppressors. The CanClean design lets you remove the end cap with the included tools, and the baffles slide out from there. The Stifle baffles can be reassembled in any order, so putting it back together is quick and there is no way to stack them wrong.
