Improved Modified sits right between Modified and Full on the constriction scale. It tightens your pattern enough to reach out to that 30 to 40 yard range with confidence, while still leaving more forgiveness than a true Full choke. That makes it a solid pick for pheasant hunters working open fields, late season dove hunters dealing with birds that have wised up and started flaring wide, or turkey hunters running smaller tungsten pellets who don't need the extreme constriction of an extra-full tube.
This choke tube is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel and finished with black nitride, giving it the corrosion resistance to handle wet blinds and muddy fields without seizing up in the threads. It's engineered specifically for the BANISH 20 suppressor, so fit and function stay consistent every time you swap it in. This choke handles the same range of 20 gauge shot loads the BANISH 20 suppressor is built around, including lead, steel, bismuth, and tungsten shot from #8 up through #2, BB, BBB, and 00 Buck. Just steer clear of rifled slugs, since those aren't meant to pass through any constricted choke tube.
No special tools are needed. It threads in by hand the same way the Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full chokes that came with your BANISH 20 do, just make sure it's snug before you head out.
