Grip angle is one of those small details that quietly makes or breaks how a rifle feels in your hands, and Battle Arms Development built the ATG to let you settle that debate for good. Instead of committing to a single fixed angle, this polymer grip fits AR-15, M16, and AR-308 lowers and adjusts to three of the most proven positions using a patent-pending mechanism and the hex key that comes in the box.
The adjustment range covers a genuinely useful spread. The 17-degree setting suits modern, elbows-in shooting techniques where you want your wrist stacked more vertically behind the gun. The 25-degree position is the middle ground that plays nice with just about any stance, and the 33-degree setting mimics the classic A2 grip angle from the 1960s that many folks grew up shooting with elbows out. Being able to move between them means you can relieve stress on your wrist, adapt to an injury, or just tune the feel as your build changes.
The surface is where this grip earns its keep. Textured finger grooves paired with a ribbed back-strap give you a solid, repeatable hold, and the dimpled air gaps molded into the sides help keep your palm from sliding around when your hands get sweaty or the weather turns wet. It reads as aggressive enough to lock in without chewing up your hand during a long range day.
At right around 3 ounces complete with the mounting screw and washer, the ATG adds almost nothing to your rifle's overall weight. Height shifts slightly depending on the angle you choose, running from about 4.26 inches at 17 degrees up to roughly 4.35 inches at 33 degrees, with a width of just over an inch. It's made in the USA and installs like any standard AR grip, so if you can run a hex key you can have it on and dialed in within a few minutes.
