The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Bolt Catch takes one of the most-touched controls on your rifle and makes it work the way it should have from the factory. Built for .308 Win AR-10 and DPMS Gen 1 style receivers, it drops right in as a replacement for the standard mil-spec catch. No fitting, no fuss, just a better contact surface where your thumb lands.
The upgrade comes down to geometry. The face carries bold horizontal and diagonal serrations that give your thumb something to grab onto, so releasing the bolt is quick and sure even with gloves on or hands full of grit at the range. Up top, a raised T-shaped heel gives you a distinct, positive surface for locking the bolt to the rear, which is a real improvement over hunting for the tiny flat paddle on a mil-spec part. The whole piece is skeletonized to shed material that does not need to be there, keeping weight down without giving up strength.
