The WORKHORSE complete upper from Battle Arms Development is built around a forged 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver and a free-float M-LOK handguard with attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. It ships with a 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel finished with black nitride and is chambered in .223 Rem/5.56 NATO. The upper includes a full-length Picatinny rail with the manufacturer’s signature notch cut to align with the receiver, and it is supplied with a matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier.
