The B5 Systems VFG-1574 is a no-nonsense vertical foregrip built to give AR-style rifles a more stable, controllable hold. It bolts directly to any standard M-LOK handguard, so there's no adapter or rail section to mess with. At roughly 2.16 inches long and just over an ounce, it stays out of the way and keeps your rifle balanced while still giving your support hand something solid to work with.
What sets this grip apart is the aggressive texture wrapping all four sides. That means a consistent, positive grip no matter how your hand lands on it, and it holds up well when things get wet, sweaty, or you're running gloves. The compact profile makes it a natural fit for a C-clamp style hold up front, but it works just as well as a traditional vertical grip or an index point to keep your hand off the muzzle. Folks who've run it tend to notice better control during quick transitions and rapid strings of fire.
The grip mounts in two directions, so you can dial in the angle that suits your setup. Run it at a forward tilt for an aggressive, hands-forward C-clamp technique, or flip it to a rearward angle for a more classic vertical support position. It's an easy way to tune the feel without buying a second grip.
B5 molds the VFG-1574 from a durable composite material, which is why it stays light while shrugging off range abuse. The Olive Drab Green finish blends nicely with earth-tone builds and pairs well with FDE, tan, and other muted setups. Made in the USA, it's a straightforward, dependable upgrade for anyone looking to add a little more control to their handguard without a bulky, heavy grip.
Yes, it mounts directly to any standard M-LOK slot on aluminum or polymer handguards, and the required hardware comes in the box. There's no need for a Picatinny adapter or extra rail section. Note that it isn't compatible with the B5 Systems Grip Plug.
It can. The grip installs in two orientations, giving you a roughly 19-degree forward tilt for an aggressive C-clamp hold or a 12-degree rearward angle for a more traditional vertical grip. That lets you match the feel to your shooting style without swapping parts.
It's a compact grip that measures about 2.16 inches long, 1.04 inches wide, and 2.80 inches tall, and it tips the scale at only around 1.1 ounces. That keeps your rifle balanced and maneuverable while still giving your support hand a solid anchor.
The aggressive four-sided texture is one of the grip's strong points and wraps the entire body, so your hand gets consistent purchase no matter where it lands. Users have found it holds up well with sweaty hands, gloves, or in damp conditions, which helps during fast transitions and rapid fire.
