The B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD is B5's take on the legendary Crane NSWC design that was built for Special Operations Forces, and it has earned its reputation the hard way. What sets it apart from a plain M4-style stock is the sloping, wider cheek platform. That extra face contact keeps your head in the same spot every time you shoulder the rifle, which pays off in tighter, more repeatable shots, especially when you are running an LPVO or red dot.
This is a six-position collapsible stock that fits all Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions. The body is glass-reinforced polymer with color-matched steel hardware, and B5 packed roughly double the resin and glass of the original SOPMOD into it, making the shell noticeably tougher. A SureGrip stock latch handles length-of-pull changes, and the non-slip cushioned buttpad keeps it planted on your shoulder without sliding around on a slick jacket or plate carrier.
