It takes the comb profile everyone already likes from the B5 SOPMOD and Bravo stocks and adds tool-less adjustment dials for both comb height and length of pull, so you can set it up to match your body, your gear, and whatever optic is riding up top. This is the Short model in Coyote, machined and finished with the same Mil-Spec materials B5 is known for.
The Short length is the one to grab if your rifle runs a standard charging handle. Fully collapsed, the Short CPS clears the M110 charging handle, so you're not fighting the comb every time you rack the rifle. The comb rides a little lower than the Long version for that exact reason. If your build uses a side charger or a folding adapter, the Long model is worth a look instead, but for a typical AR-15 or AR-10 setup, this is the size most people want.
Comb height and length of pull both adjust with threaded dials, no tools needed, so you can fine-tune the fit right at the range. Twelve internal tensioners take up the slack on the buffer tube, which is why these stocks feel rock solid with almost no wobble even at full extension. Length of pull runs roughly 8.5 to 9.2 inches and the comb climbs from about 4.35 to 4.78 inches, giving you plenty of room to line up behind glass mounted high or low.
Sling options are generous. You get ambidextrous steel anti-rotation QD cups on both sides plus two fixed sling loops for a more traditional hookup. Underneath there are M-LOK slots for a monopod or other add-ons, and mounting slots up top accept an accessory cheekpiece if you want even more comb height. The hardware is color matched, and the buttpad is a cushioned no-slip rubber that stays put on your shoulder. Fits Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions, including M4, A5, and M110K tubes. The Long version sits higher and is aimed at rifles with side charging uppers or a folding stock adapter. If your gun runs a normal charging handle, go Short.
