The B5 Systems AK Stock in Plum is built for AK rifles running a factory 4.5mm folding trunnion, and it swaps in using the same 4.5mm pin your original stock rides on. That means you get a genuine ergonomic upgrade without hunting down an AR-style stock adapter or reworking your receiver. The plum finish gives it that retro Kalashnikov look while everything else about it feels thoroughly modern.
Where this stock earns its keep is the adjustable length of pull. There's a button at the base you press to collapse it inward, and it locks into each position with a firm, positive click, so you can dial the fit to your body armor, your coat, or just your reach. Folks who have run it note the extended lockup feels tight and stable, closer to a fixed stock than the sloppy fold you get from a lot of older AK side folders. When you swing it out of the way, a magnet gives it a light hold in the folded position to keep it tucked and out of your way.
Comfort details add up here. The cushioned nonslip buttpad seats firmly in your shoulder pocket for a repeatable weld, and the optic rail cutout keeps clearance for side-mounted optics setups. Sling options are covered both ways, with fixed sling mounts plus steel anti-rotational QD sockets so you can carry it however you like.
B5 Systems builds the AK Stock from durable composite materials paired with steel hardware, the same rugged approach that put their gear in the hands of every branch of the U.S. military. It's proudly made in the USA. Keep in mind this variant is specific to the 4.5mm folding pattern, so make sure your rifle uses a 4.5mm folding trunnion before you order. Because manufacturer tolerances vary across the AK world, a little light fitting is occasionally part of the deal, but for most rifles it goes on clean.
This variant is made specifically for AK-pattern rifles that use a factory 4.5mm folding trunnion. It mounts using your existing 4.5mm pin, so check which pin pattern your rifle uses before ordering. If yours runs a 5.5mm folding trunnion or a fixed-stock trunnion, you'll want the matching B5 version instead.
Yes, it folds to the side for compact carry and storage. A magnet gives it a light hold in the folded position to keep it tucked out of the way. When extended, the lockup is tight and feels close to a fixed stock.
It is. A button at the base lets you collapse the stock inward, and it locks into each position with a firm, positive click. That lets you tune the fit for gear, layers, or personal preference.
No permanent modification is needed since it uses the factory 4.5mm pin and mounting point. Because AK manufacturer tolerances vary, a little light fitting is occasionally required, but most rifles take it as a clean drop-in. Basic hand tools are all you'll typically need.
