It's a non-adjustable, drop-in two-stage unit with a light, predictable first-stage take-up followed by a clean second-stage break that sits right around 3.5 pounds total. The G2S-E is cut from the same tool steel as their premium triggers, and the sear surfaces are wire EDM cut for that consistent, crisp engagement Geissele is known for. Where it differs from the SSA-E is under the hood: it uses a spring-clip hammer pin retention system instead of the SSA-E's setup, skips the laser markings, and the parts are spot-checked for magnetic particle inspection rather than getting the full workup. From the outside of the rifle and at the finger, most people can't tell the two apart.

Keep in mind some DPMS-pattern .308 lowers may need a minor hammer clearance adjustment per the included instructions. It's built for mil-spec AR-15/M4 and AR-10 platforms, not for PCC or SIG MPX/MCX guns.
It does. Every one of these ships with the trigger and hammer pins you need for a standard mil-spec install, so you don't have to source them separately. Some builders prefer to swap in KNS anti-rotation pins, but that's optional and not required for the trigger to work.
