The Avian X AVXTKY04 is the Beretta/Benelli Mobil version of Avian X's Crusher turkey choke, machined for 12 gauge guns that run the Mobil thread pattern. With a .665 constriction, this one is built to wring the tightest, deadliest pattern out of your turkey loads, concentrating pellets into a fist-sized cluster at the kind of ranges where a tom hangs up just out of reach. The tube runs an extended, ported design and wears a black PVD finish that cuts glare, smooths out the shot, and makes wiping away powder fouling a quick job.
Avian X packed this choke with some genuinely useful engineering. Internal groove technology strips the pellets away from the wad early, so the wad isn't bumping into your shot column and opening up the pattern. Straight rifling inside the tube keeps the wad from spinning on its way out, which helps focus more pellets right where you're aiming. Radial porting vents gas away from the shot string, and castle cuts on the crown lock the tube tight in the barrel while giving that gas a fast exit.
This is a versatile tube when it comes to feeding it. It's rated for steel, tungsten, bismuth, and lead, so whether you're running premium TSS, bismuth, or a classic lead turkey load, this choke is built to handle it. The body is high strength tempered steel, so it holds up to the heavy, high pressure turkey loads folks lean on for a clean head shot.
The AVXTKY04 drops into 12 gauge shotguns using the Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke system, which covers a lot of popular semi-autos and pumps. A polished end face helps the tube seat and seal cleanly inside the barrel, and the whole thing measures right around 3.9 inches long with an extended profile that's easy to grab and swap. Pattern it with your preferred load before the season and you'll know exactly what it's doing downrange.
This choke is cut for the Beretta/Benelli Mobil thread pattern in 12 gauge, which covers a wide range of Beretta and Benelli semi-autos along with other guns that use the Mobil system. Always confirm your barrel uses the Mobil pattern before ordering, since choke threads vary between makers and even between models from the same brand. If you're unsure, check your owner's manual or the markings on your existing choke tube.
Yes. The AVXTKY04 is rated for steel, tungsten, bismuth, and lead, so tungsten super shot (TSS) loads are fair game. Just keep in mind that TSS patterns extremely tight, so pattern your specific load at the range to see exactly where it's hitting before you head to the woods.
It is. The tube runs an extended profile that sticks out past the muzzle for easy install and removal, and it's ported with radial venting plus castle cuts on the crown to help manage gas. The extended design also makes it simple to grab and swap in the field.
This tube has a .665 constriction, which is a tight turkey choke designed to squeeze your pattern into a dense cluster at extended range. A tighter pattern means more pellets concentrated on a turkey's head and neck, giving you a cleaner, more decisive shot when a bird hangs up. Patterning your gun with this choke and your chosen load is the best way to confirm its effective range.
