Auto-Ordnance built the USA 250th Anniversary 1911 (model 1911TCAC19) on their full-size Stainless 1911 platform, giving it a foundation of high-grade stainless steel throughout the frame, slide, and barrel. On top of that solid base, they applied a matte gray Cerakote finish with copper-colored infill that pops against the black controls, making this one of the better-looking commemoratives to come through in a while.
The slide engraving is where the patriotic theme really comes to life. The left side reads “250th ANNIVERSARY” alongside the year 2026, and the right side carries “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” with the founding year 1776 in that same copper infill. The wood grip panels are custom-engraved, with the Liberty Bell on the left and a bald eagle on the right, both set against a field of stars. Worth noting: because the custom work is applied by hand, no two pistols are exactly alike, which only adds to the collector appeal.
