Commemorative pistols usually fall into one of two camps. They either shoot well or they look good in a display case, and rarely both. Auto-Ordnance went a different route with the Trump Fight 1911. They started with their stainless steel full-size 1911 in .45 ACP, then handed it over to the artists at Outlaw Ordnance to create a tribute to the events of July 13, 2024 and the FIGHT moment that followed.
The engraving work covers the slide with USA Stand United, 47th POTUS, God Bless America, and FIGHT in bold lettering alongside the now-famous wounded image. The slide top carries an American flag, and the custom engraved aluminum grips show Trump rising to his feet in front of the flag. The whole pistol wears a three-tone Cerakote finish in Graphite Black, Gold, and USMC Red, which protects the stainless steel underneath while giving it serious presence in a safe or on a table at the range.
Now for the part that matters if you actually plan to run it. The 5-inch match grade barrel rides with a full-length guide rod, and the slide is both serrated and ported. You get TruGlo white 3-dot sights that are easy to pick up in most light, a skeletonized trigger, a high sweep beavertail, and a checkered front strap that keeps the gun planted through .45 ACP recoil. Capacity is the classic 7+1, and one 7-round magazine ships in the box. Overall length runs 8.6 inches with an unloaded weight of 2.3 pounds, right in line with a traditional Government-size 1911.
This one makes sense for collectors of Trump commemorative firearms, fans of American-made 1911s, or anyone looking for a meaningful gift for the 1911 enthusiast in their life. It is a limited production run, and like most of the Auto-Ordnance custom editions, these tend to dry up once they are gone. The good news is that whether it lives in a display case or earns its keep at the range, it can handle either job.
