The SCT Manufacturing Gen 3 frame is purpose-built for people who want to assemble a quality pistol without starting from scratch. Every frame comes fully assembled by a certified armorer and function-tested with an actual factory Glock slide before shipping. That means you get a frame that's dialed in for safe operation, proper trigger engagement, and striker function right away.
The grip texture on this frame is noticeably more aggressive than standard Glock polymer, giving you a secure purchase even with wet hands. The design includes an extended beavertail that wraps around the back of your hand, a contoured mag release recessed into the frame, and a flared magazine well that speeds up reloads. Trigger guard serrations and an index point help you manage recoil and maintain control, while the undercut trigger guard allows you to get a higher purchase on the grip.
This frame works with any Gen 1-3 Glock parts and components. The molded-in polished stainless steel rails are ready to accept any compatible Gen 3 slide, and the Picatinny rail on the dust cover fits standard frame-mounted lights. Coming in at just 1 pound, it's a proper compact-size frame that handles everything from carry rounds to range duty. The drop-free magazine well and Gen 3 trigger housing mean you can build with parts you likely already have on hand.
Inside the frame assembly you'll find the polymer frame itself, electroless nickel locking block, polished trigger assembly with nickel trigger bar, magazine catch and spring, steel trigger pin, steel locking block pin, standard slide lock with coil spring, polymer trigger housing pin, trigger housing with Gen 4-style ejector, slide stop assembly, and a polished 5.5-pound trigger connector. Everything's already installed and tested, so all you need is a compatible slide, barrel, and recoil spring assembly to finish your build.
Any Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 Glock slide in the 19/23/32 compact size will fit this frame. Just match your barrel and magazine to your intended caliber. The frame uses standard Gen 3 rail geometry, so aftermarket slides made for Gen 3 compatibility also work.
The frame itself is fully assembled with all internal parts installed and function-tested with a factory Glock slide. You'll still need a compatible slide assembly, barrel, and recoil spring assembly to complete a working pistol. The frame comes with everything needed on the grip end.
The SCT frame uses a more aggressive stipple-style grip texture than standard Glock polymer. It provides noticeably better control and traction in wet conditions or during extended shooting sessions. Combined with the undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail, the ergonomics feel like a significant upgrade over original Glock frames.
Most standard Glock 19 Gen 3 holsters won't fit this frame due to the different profile from the upgraded ergonomics and extended beavertail. You'll need a holster specifically designed for aftermarket Glock frames or one made for the SCT frame dimensions.
