The Arisaka Defense Side Scout Mount solves one of the most common headaches on a modern carbine build: fitting a Scout light and a laser/illuminator on the same handguard without them fighting for space. It replaces the stock Picatinny adapter on your light and drops it right onto an M-LOK slot, tucking the light body low and to the side so it clears the ATPIAL series, including the ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15, and LA-5, plus the QD lever on Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2 units. The whole thing rides on a single M-LOK slot, so you have plenty of freedom to dial in exactly where the light sits and which way it faces.
What sets this piece apart is how little it asks of you. It's CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished with Type III hard coat anodizing in Flat Dark Earth, and it tips the scale at roughly six tenths of an ounce. That's about as close to free real estate as you'll find. The design is fully ambidextrous, so it works the same whether you're a lefty or a righty, and it locks down solid without creeping under recoil.
Compatibility is where this mount really shines. It's built for SureFire Scout Lights across the M300 and M600 families, Modlite's PLH, PLHv2, and OKW, Arisaka's own 300, 600, and 18650 Series, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount lights, the Olight Odin, and the Cloud Defensive REIN. If you're running a longer-body Scout like the M620 or M951/2, you can adapt it with Arisaka's separate M620 adapter.
Install is straightforward. All the mounting hardware comes in the box, and you'll want a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver to set it up, plus a T9 to pull the factory Picatinny mount off a SureFire Scout. Torque the M-LOK screws to around 30 inch pounds and the light body screws to 20, add a little medium-strength threadlocker, and you're good to go. Made in the USA.

This keeps your light and laser from crowding each other on a tight handguard.
You'll need a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver to mount it, and a T9 Torx to remove the factory Picatinny mount from a SureFire Scout light. Arisaka recommends 30 inch pounds on the M-LOK screws and 20 inch pounds on the light body screws with a bit of medium-strength threadlocker. All the mounting screws come in the box, but the drivers are not included.
