A good weapon light setup lives or dies by the mount, and the Arisaka Offset Scout Mount is one of those pieces that quietly does its job better than the stock adapter it replaces. Instead of hanging your scout light off a bulky Picatinny rail section, this swaps in a slim M-LOK mount that sits at less than 0.20 inches thick. When bolted to the side mounting surface of an M-LOK handguard, it kicks the light out to a 45-degree angle and pulls it in close to the rail, landing around the 1:30 or 10:30 clock position when oriented up. The result is a cleaner, more streamlined rifle with fewer sharp edges to catch on gear or a sling.
The standout feature here is the overlapping hole design, which gives you three lateral positions spanning roughly 0.240 inches. That adjustment range lets you slide the light body left or right to sneak past a front sight, a laser, or whatever else is competing for real estate up front. Folks running larger folding sights tend to appreciate this, and pairing the mount with an Arisaka 300 or 600 Series Light Body opens up even more clearance for chunkier sight setups.
Arisaka machines this mount from 6061 aluminum and finishes it with a Type III hard coat anodize, so it holds up to real range and field use without babying it. The Flat Dark Earth color is a Cerakote finish that blends right in on tan and multicam-style builds. It accepts a wide range of scout-footprint lights including SureFire M300 and M600 series, Modlite PLH and OKW, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin, and the Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 Series bodies. It fits most popular M-LOK handguards like the BCM MCMR, KAC URX4, and Geissele SMR MK8, MK14, and MK16, though it won't work on a few profiles like the Aero Precision Enhanced Gen 2 or SIG MCX Virtus.
Installation is straightforward with a 5/64 and 1/8 inch Allen wrench, and a dab of thread locker on the screws keeps everything locked in for the long haul.
It's built for scout-footprint lights, including the SureFire M300 and M600 series, Modlite PLH and OKW, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin, and Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 Series bodies. SureFire M620 and 951/952/962 series lights can be added with the separate Arisaka Offset M620 Adapter. If your light uses a standard scout mounting lug, chances are good it will bolt right up.
