Description
LWRC direct-thread handguards are great, but the stock Picatinny rail adapter puts your light out where it catches on everything. This Arisaka mount solves that. It swaps out that factory adapter and locks your scout light in at a 45-degree offset, tucking it right up against the rail so the profile stays slim and comfortable in the hand.
What the Arisaka Offset Scout Mount Brings to Your LWRC
The whole point here is real estate. Oriented up, the light sits around the 1:30 or 10:30 clock position, and flipped the other way it drops to roughly 4:30 or 6:30. On top of that, you get three lateral mounting positions for the light body, so you can slide it closer to or farther from the top rail, your front sight, or whatever else is competing for space. If you run the Arisaka 300 or 600 Series light bodies, you can free up even more clearance for taller front sights.
Compatibility and Build of the Offset Scout Mount
This one covers a lot of ground on the light side. It fits the Surefire Scout M300 and M600 series, the Modlite PLH and OKW, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X (non-laser), the Olight Odin, and Arisaka's own 300, 600 and 18650 Series bodies. The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished in Type III hard coat anodize, so it holds up to abuse and shrugs off corrosion. At under 0.20 inches thick, it stays out of the way while keeping the light rock solid.
Getting the Offset Scout Mount Installed
Installation is straightforward with the right bits. You'll want a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver for the mounting screws and a T9 for the light body hardware. The included screws use a tapered design that resists backing out under recoil, though a dab of medium-strength thread locker on your fasteners is always smart. Snug it down and you've got a light that stays put shot after shot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which weapon lights work with the Arisaka Offset Scout Mount for LWRC?
It's built to fit the Surefire Scout M300 and M600 series, the Modlite PLH and OKW, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2 and HL-X in the non-laser version, and the Olight Odin. It also works with Arisaka's own 300, 600 and 18650 Series light bodies. Basically most popular scout-style lights are covered.
Where does the light end up sitting with this offset mount?
The mount holds the light at a 45-degree angle to keep it tucked in close to the handguard. Oriented up, it lands around the 1:30 or 10:30 clock position, and flipped down it sits near 4:30 or 6:30. You also get three lateral positions to fine-tune how close the light is to your rail or front sight.
What tools do I need to install the Offset Scout Mount?
You'll need a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver for the mounting screws and a T9 Torx for the light body hardware. Neither driver comes in the box, so grab those ahead of time. We'd recommend a dab of medium-strength thread locker on the fasteners to keep everything locked in.
Will this fit any LWRC handguard?
This version is made specifically for LWRC direct-thread handguard profiles, so it's the right pick if that's what you're running. If you've got a different handguard type like M-LOK or Picatinny, Arisaka makes dedicated versions of the Offset Scout Mount for those instead.
