The Arisaka EXPS Mk2 Mount solves a frustration a lot of folks run into with the EOTECH EXPS platform. The factory mount sits at a 1.725" centerline, which leaves you in an awkward spot if you're trying to run a 1.93" height across your setup. Instead of stacking a riser under the OEM mount and adding bulk, the Mk2 completely replaces the factory mount and puts your optic right at 1.93" on its own.
Because this is a direct OEM replacement and not a riser plate, you shave weight and trim down the overall footprint. The 1.93" version tips the scale at roughly 2.6 oz, which is only about 0.6 oz over the factory EXPS mount. It also retains the quick-detach functionality you'd expect, thanks to an integrated ADM QD lever that lets you pull the optic off and reclamp it to your Picatinny rail without tools. Pairing nicely with the Arisaka 1.93" Magnifier, this height keeps your holographic window and magnifier sitting on the same plane for a clean, consistent sight picture.
Each mount is CNC machined from 7075-T651 aluminum, which is about as tough as it gets for firearm hardware, then finished in a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat black anodizing. That combination holds up to real-world handling and keeps corrosion and wear at bay. It's made in the USA and carries a patent pending design.
This mount is built specifically for the EOTECH EXPS2 and EXPS3 holographic sights and works with all reticle variants, including the EXPS3-0, EXPS3-1, EXPS3-2, and EXPS3-DCR. Installation is a straightforward parts swap: pull the factory base off the optic, bolt the Arisaka body to the sight, and clamp the lever to your rail. Recommended torque runs 25 inch-pounds optic-to-mount and 12 inch-pounds on the shroud. Arisaka suggests reusing your original EXPS screws when they're in good shape, and spares come in the box just in case.
