The Archangel AAS111SLA is a full replacement stock built to modernize your Savage Model 110 or 111 long action chambered in standard calibers like .30-06, .270 Win, and .25-06. It swaps out the factory stock for an aluminum pillar-bedded platform with a free-floating barrel channel, which is where the accuracy gains come from. The precision-fit inlet and pillars keep the action locked in consistently, and the varmint-sized barrel channel clears most contours so your barrel sits free and true.
Beyond the bedding, this stock converts your rifle to run a double-column TYPE C detachable magazine with a rear paddle release, so you can finally move on from the blind or hinged floorplate setups. It ships with one TYPE C polymer magazine that holds 7 rounds and comes with a 5-round limiter installed. The magazines are interchangeable across the Precision Elite long action stocks, which is handy if you run more than one Savage.
This is where the Precision Elite earns its name. The length of pull adjusts on a thumbwheel from 13.5 to 14.5 inches, and the cheek riser clicks up in .05-inch steps with 1.25 inches of total travel. That lets you get proper eye alignment behind a scope instead of craning your neck. The gooseneck grip has palm swells, the forend is ventilated and textured for a solid hold, and there's an off-hand pressure hook plus a contoured recoil pad on the butt. Two M-Lok slots underneath handle a bipod, rail, or light, and there are three flush QD hard points along with a traditional sling stud for Harris-style bipods.
The shell is molded from carbon fiber and glass-reinforced polymer, so it shrugs off weather and won't flinch at standard solvents and oils.
