The Archangel AAM1ADT Precision Stock takes the classic Springfield M1A and drags it into modern precision territory without changing what makes the rifle great. It's molded from a carbon-fiber reinforced polymer that shrugs off weather, solvents, and oils, so it holds up whether it lives in a safe or spends weekends at the range. The inlet is designed to apply gentle pressure against the barreled action, which is exactly the kind of contact that helps tighten groups on a platform that responds well to a good stock fit.
What sets this stock apart is how much you can tune it to your body. The click-adjustable cheek riser gives you 1.75 inches of travel, and the length of pull runs from 13.50 inches out to 14.8125 inches. That range makes a real difference when you're running an optic, since getting a repeatable cheek weld and proper eye alignment is half the battle behind glass. The gooseneck-style grip with palm swells brings your hand and trigger finger into a more natural position than the traditional straight comb, and there's a flared base with a locking storage compartment tucked in for batteries or small parts.
Mounting options are generous. There are four integral steel inserts for QD-type sling swivels along with two standard Uncle Mike's-style swivel studs, so you can sling it however you prefer.
