The Archangel AA556R-EX gives your Ruger 10/22 the look, feel, and modularity of an M4-style flat-top carbine without touching the internals of the rifle. Your barreled action drops into a rugged shell molded from carbon fiber and glass-reinforced polymer, and from there you get a full run of Picatinny real estate along the top and forend to hang whatever glass, lights, or grips you want. It free-floats standard cut barrels and bull barrels up to .920 in diameter, so lightweight carbines and heavier target setups both find a home here.
The six-position collapsible buttstock adjusts length of pull from 10.25 to 14.25 inches, which makes it easy to size for different shooters, layered winter clothing, or growing kids. Four steel quick-detach sling points are molded right in, so you skip the rail adapters and just clip in and go. The finger-grooved pistol grip fills the hand nicely, and there are two lockable storage compartments tucked into the grip and the buttstock for spare parts, tools, or a small cleaning kit.
The extended monolithic top rail runs full length for long eye-relief optic placement or backup irons, and the forend sides are slotted for adding more Picatinny sections wherever you need them.
