The B5 Systems Collapsible Precision Stock Long is the version built specifically for side-charging uppers and rifles running a LAW-style folding adapter. On a lot of adjustable stocks, the cheek riser sits far enough forward that it fouls the charging handle when the stock is collapsed. B5 solved that on the Long profile by shaping the cheekpiece to clear those layouts, so you keep full function without fighting your own hardware. It fits standard mil-spec carbine receiver extensions and A5 setups, which makes it a straightforward swap on both 5.56 and 7.62 builds.
This is where the CPS earns the "precision" name. Both the comb height and length of pull adjust with tool-less dials, so you can set your cheek weld behind a magnified optic and lock in the exact fit you want. Length of pull runs from roughly 8.5 to 9.2 inches, with the comb moving from about 4.35 to 4.78 inches, and the gross length-of-pull adjustment uses the standard receiver extension positions with a pull-down lockout. It weighs in around 20.65 ounces, so it adds real rear-end stability without turning your rifle into a boat anchor.
Receiver extensions can develop a little slop over time, and B5 addressed that with ten internal tensioners that grip the tube along both sides. The result is a solid, wobble-free lockup that stays consistent shot to shot.
