B5 Systems took the ergonomics that made the collapsible Bravo a favorite and built them into a fixed, non-adjustable stock that bolts down and stays put. It slides onto a standard mil-spec carbine buffer tube and locks into one of the existing adjustment holes with a set screw, so once you dial in your length of pull and torque it down, there's zero wobble to worry about. If you've ever been annoyed by a collapsible stock developing play over time, this is the fix.
The big draw here is the cheek weld. This is the same comfortable, angled cheek support carried over from B5's SOPMOD family, and it puts your eye right where it needs to be for red dots, holographic sights, and magnified optics. Weighing in around 10.25 ounces, it keeps things light without giving up the solid feel you want against your shoulder. The rear is angled to help you shoulder the rifle quickly and consistently, which matters when you're running drills or moving between positions.
This isn't a stripped-down version of the Bravo. You still get the one-piece anti-rotation QD sling sockets on both sides, fixed sling mounts, and a non-slip cushioned buttpad that keeps the rifle from sliding around on your shoulder. The polymer construction is reinforced and paired with color-matched steel hardware, and the whole thing is made in the USA out of mil-spec materials. The Wolf Gray finish plays well with gray uppers, receivers, and matching B5 grips if you're building out a coordinated look.
Swapping it on is a quick job. Back the set screw out enough to slide the stock over your carbine tube, find the hole that gives you the length of pull you like, then snug the screw down. Plenty of folks report the swap taking about a minute with no drama. Keep in mind this fits mil-spec carbine receiver extensions only, so it won't work on A1 or A2 rifle-length tubes.
It's built for mil-spec carbine receiver extensions, which are the most common tubes on AR-15 builds. It will not fit A1 or A2 rifle-length tubes. If you're running a standard carbine setup, you're good to go.
Instead of the usual adjustment lever, it uses a set screw that seats into one of the existing holes on your carbine tube. You slide the stock to the length of pull you want, then tighten the screw down. Once it's torqued in, there's no play or rattle.
You set the length once during installation by choosing which hole the set screw lands in. After that it stays fixed, so it isn't meant for on-the-fly changes like a collapsible stock. Changing it later just takes a screwdriver and a minute of your time.
Yes. It carries the same one-piece anti-rotation QD sling sockets found on B5's other stocks, and they're on both sides. It also has fixed sling mount slots if you prefer a traditional loop setup.
