The M2.0's factory trigger is plenty serviceable, but the Apex Action Enhancement kit takes it to another level entirely. This is a complete replacement package that swaps out the factory hinged trigger for a solid polymer trigger body with a center-mounted pivoting safety. The rounded trigger face feels more comfortable during extended shooting, and you'll notice the uptake is noticeably smoother once you get behind it.
Everything in this kit works together to give you a 5.0 to 5.5 lb trigger pull that's tuned for duty and carry work. You're looking at roughly a 1 lb reduction from stock, shorter over-travel, and a quicker reset that makes follow-up shots feel snappier. The pre-travel and over-travel get trimmed by about 20 percent, which means less slop and more confidence in your press. Most guys find it threads the needle between competition-light and service-appropriate.
The kit ships with both a Heavy Duty sear spring and a lighter Duty/Carry trigger return spring, plus a 1/8" sear spring for flexibility. You can mix and match these with the factory springs to fine-tune your pull weight anywhere from under 4 lbs to over 6 lbs depending on how you set it up. This modular approach means you're not stuck with one feel if the initial setup doesn't match your preferences.
It's engineered as a drop-in kit and works with all M2.0 polymer frame models in 9mm and .40 S&W, including full size, standard, compact, and subcompact. The kit includes the Talon Tactical installation tool and slave pin you'll need for teardown and assembly. While technically drop-in, professional installation by an armorer or gunsmith is recommended since the sear and striker block are precision parts. Not compatible with Shield models or the M2.0 Metal Series.
