They partnered with acoustics PhDs and used computational fluid dynamics to develop OptiWave, an internal baffle structure tuned to push sound energy into lower frequencies. The result is a can that sounds noticeably deeper and smoother at the muzzle, because your ear reads low-frequency sound as quieter and less harsh even when the meter says two cans are close. This is the long version of the Reticent 360 lineup, stretching to 8 inches to give gases more dwell time for maximum suppression and an even richer tone than its shorter sibling. Rated for pistol calibers up to 9mm and rifle calibers up to .36, it covers a huge slice of the average safe: 9mm handguns and PCCs, 5.56 rifles, .300 Blackout, .308, even big-bore fun like .35 Whelen. The rear of the can uses the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB thread, so you can swap in whatever mounting system you already run. A 1/2×28 direct thread mount comes installed for fixed-barrel guns, and if you want to hang it off a tilting-barrel pistol, you just thread on a booster assembly instead.
The whole can is built from 100 percent Grade 5 titanium using Direct Metal Laser Sintering, which is how Angstadt pulls off internal geometry that traditional machining simply cannot cut. It also keeps weight down to 8.5 ounces without the mount, which is remarkably light for a full 8 inch suppressor. Despite the length, it balances well and will not turn your rifle into a nose-heavy chore. The sealed design means cleaning is a soak-and-rinse affair rather than scrubbing lead off individual baffles, with Angstadt recommending a cleaning about every 1,000 rounds. Finished in durable black and backed by Angstadt's lifetime warranty, the 360L is a do-it-all can that earns its spot on more than one host.
