Big bore suppressors usually come with a weight penalty. The AnechoX 35L doesn't play that game. At 8.2 inches long, 1.6 inches in diameter, and right around 11 ounces with the included direct thread adapter, this can hangs off the end of a .338 Lapua or 358 magnum without turning your rifle into a boat anchor. That matters a lot when you're packing a bolt gun into the backcountry and every ounce counts.
Anechoic builds the 35L from Grade 5 titanium with 17-4 stainless steel in the blast chamber and blast baffles, so the parts taking the worst of the heat and pressure are built to shrug it off. The whole thing wears a Cerakote C Series high-temp ceramic finish in black. Inside, the X-Baffle Anechoic Chamber System uses an interrupted central tube to knock down the report while keeping shifts in point of impact to a minimum. The flow-through layout keeps back pressure low, which means less gas blowback and fewer cycling headaches when you run it on a semi-auto like an AR-10 or an 8.6 Blackout build.
Out of the box you get a 1/2×28 direct thread adapter already installed, and the 1-3/8×24 rear thread accepts industry standard HUB mounts, so pistons, boosters, QD systems, and tri-lug adapters are all on the table. Maximum bullet diameter is .358, which covers everything from 9mm pistols and 5.56 carbines up through .308, 300 magnums, .338 Lapua, 338-378 Weatherby, and the 338 and 358 magnum families. This suppressor is fully user-serviceable, so you can take it apart, clean it, and put it back together at your bench without shipping it off. Anechoic also includes a caliber-specific Quiet Cap alongside the standard Flow-Cap, letting you tune the can for the tightest sound performance on a specific rifle or leave it open for maximum flexibility. You can. The 35L is fully user-serviceable, so it disassembles at home for cleaning and goes back together without any special trip to the manufacturer. That's a big plus if you plan on feeding it a steady diet of 9mm or other dirtier calibers.
The 35L is the longer version, measuring 8.2 inches versus 6.6 inches for the standard 35, and it weighs a couple ounces more. That extra internal volume buys you more sound suppression and better recoil reduction, which is worth having on hard-kicking magnums like .338 Lapua. If your priority is the quietest possible big bore performance, the 35L is the one to grab.
