This one starts with a 16 inch 4150 CMV barrel wearing a Melonite QPQ finish, spun with a 1:7 twist that stabilizes everything from cheap 55 grain plinking ammo up to heavier 77 grain match loads. The mid-length gas system paired with a .750 low-profile gas block is the detail worth paying attention to here. Plenty of rifles at this level still run carbine-length gas, and the smoother cycling and softer recoil impulse of a mid-length setup is something you feel from the first magazine.
The burnt bronze Cerakote on the receiver set gives this rifle a look you usually only see on custom builds, and it sits over a 7075-T6 forged upper and 7075 forged lower with Type 3 hard coat anodizing underneath. It does. The rifle is built on mil-spec pattern 7075 forged receivers, so it runs standard AR-15 magazines and accepts common aftermarket triggers, stocks, grips, and muzzle devices. The 1/2×28 threaded barrel also makes adding a different muzzle device or suppressor mount straightforward.
