When you mount a red dot on your Glock slide or run a can up front, your factory irons suddenly sit too low to be useful. The AmeriGlo GL611 fixes that. This XL tall set lifts the front and rear sights up to suppressor and optic height, so you can see your irons through the optic window or right over the top of a suppressor without the barrel getting in the way.

The front sight runs a green tritium vial wrapped in AmeriGlo's LumiGreen outline, which is a bright ring that grabs your eye and speeds up front sight focus in daylight or dusk. At night, that tritium glows on its own so you always have a reference point. The rear is a flat black square notch, which is exactly what most folks want on a co-witness setup. A blacked-out rear keeps your attention on the front dot and the red dot itself instead of cluttering the picture with extra glowing dots. The front blade sits around .315 inches tall and the rear at .394 inches, which is the sweet spot for lower-third co-witness with most miniature red dots. Fit and Build on the AmeriGlo GL611

These are cut for the standard Glock dovetail and fit all Glock models Gen 1 through 5, including MOS slides. The one exception is the slim G42 and G43. Sights are machined from steel with a matte black finish, so they hold up to holster wear and years of carry. Front sight installs easily by hand or press, though like any tight rear dovetail you may want a sight pusher for a clean job.
