The AmeriGlo GL615 is part of AmeriGlo's CAP lineup, short for Combative Application Pistol, and it takes a different approach than your standard three-dot setup. Instead of stacking dots, it uses a green tritium square with a bright LumiGreen outline up front paired with a flat black rear that carries a horizontal LumiGreen paint bar. The result is a sight picture that pulls your eye straight to the front where it belongs, which is exactly what you want when speed matters.
This is a "Cover Point of Impact" design, meaning up close you simply cover what you want to hit with the front square and press the trigger. Need a more precise shot? Rest the top edge of the front square on the rear horizontal line and you've got clean alignment in a snap. The concept came from combat pistol instructor Dave Spaulding working alongside AmeriGlo founder Rick Callihan, and it's aimed squarely at defensive and personal carry use where you may only get a quick, stressed glance at your sights.
The square-in-square geometry is the real trick here. Lining up a high-visibility square front inside a square rear notch is more intuitive than chasing a dot or a U-notch, since all those straight lines and right angles snap together naturally. The single tritium lamp keeps the front glowing in total darkness, while the LumiGreen paint charges up fast under any light source and stays bright well after. Shooters who run these tend to keep the rear largely blacked out on purpose so all the focus stays on that front square.
This set is cut for Glock 20, 21, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 36 models. AmeriGlo sights are machined from US-made bar stock steel and assembled with Swiss tritium light sources, so you're getting metal sights that hold up to real carry and one-handed slide work far better than factory polymer. Installation is straightforward with a proper sight tool or a punch and mallet, though as with most steel dovetails a snug fit is normal and a sight pusher makes the job easier.
The GL615 is cut for the Glock 20, 21, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 36. These are the larger-frame 10mm and .45 models, so double-check your slide cut before ordering. If you run a compact 9mm or .40 like a G17 or G19, you'll want the GL614 version instead.
Instead of aligning three dots, you place the square green front where you want the round to land, which AmeriGlo calls a Cover Point of Impact design. Up close you just cover the target and press. For tighter shots, you rest the top of the front square on the rear horizontal line for instant alignment.

A sight pusher tool makes installation the cleanest and easiest, especially for the rear dovetail. Many people do install these with a proper brass or nylon punch and a mallet, but steel dovetails can fit tight, so go slow. If you're not comfortable driving sights yourself, a gunsmith can knock this out quickly.
