The patented Ambient Intake system creates low-pressure zones inside the can that pull cool outside air in through engineered intake ports, mixing it with hot muzzle gases as you fire. The LRi version of the EXO 7.62 is the workhorse of the pair. Inconel is a nickel superalloy that laughs at the kind of heat and pressure that wears out lesser materials, which is why this can carries a full-auto rating with no barrel length restrictions. Run it on your short-barreled gas gun, your bolt rifle, whatever you've got. It weighs in at 21 ounces without the mount, so it's not the lightest .30 cal option out there, but that mass is exactly why it takes abuse the titanium version can't. It's rated for high-pressure rounds up to .300 Win Mag, so magnum bolt guns are fair game too.
Ambient Arms rates the EXO 7.62 LRi at roughly 35dB of reduction at the muzzle, with flash mitigation up to 97% for low-light work. The intake design also cuts back pressure significantly, which means less gas blowing back in your face on semi-autos and smoother cycling overall. There's a shock wave management system inside that improves bullet release dynamics, and in practice that translates to tighter, more repeatable groups instead of the point-of-impact wandering some cans introduce.
The rear of the can uses the industry-standard HUB interface, so you can run Ambient's own ATOM mounting systems or just about any HUB-pattern direct thread or quick-detach mount you already own. That flexibility makes it easy to move this suppressor across multiple rifles without buying into a proprietary ecosystem.
It's optimized for high-pressure .30 caliber rounds up to .300 Win Mag, which covers .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and most common rifle cartridges at or under .30 cal. The Inconel construction is full-auto rated with no barrel length restrictions, so it handles hard use on gas guns and short barrels without issue.
The LRi is built from Inconel, a heat-resistant superalloy, which gives it a full-auto rating and zero barrel restrictions at the cost of extra weight, about 21 ounces versus 11.9 for the titanium version. The titanium LR is the better pick for hunters counting ounces, while the Inconel LRi is built for high round counts and hard use. Both use the same Ambient Intake cooling technology.
The EXO 7.62 LRi uses the industry-standard HUB interface at the rear. That means it accepts Ambient Arms ATOM mounting systems as well as most third-party HUB-pattern direct thread and quick-detach mounts, so you can likely use mounting hardware you already own or pick the system that fits your rifles best.
