American Defense Mfg made its name building rock-solid QD mounts, and the ADM4 carries that same machining obsession into a complete rifle. Both the upper and lower are cut from billet aircraft-grade aluminum, and the controls are truly ambidextrous, not the bolt-on afterthought kind. You get a right-side bolt catch and release lever, a left-side magazine release, and ADM's Talon ambi safety selector, all positioned so you can run everything without shifting your firing grip. Lefties get a rifle that finally works with them, and right-handed folks pick up faster manipulations they didn't know they were missing.
The ADM4 is built to the same spec as ADM's UIC Mod 2, but with a slick-sided magazine well instead of the flared competition-style opening. That keeps the profile trimmer and the lines cleaner while everything else stays the same, including the integral tension screw that snugs up upper-to-lower fit for a rattle-free lockup.
The 4150 CMV barrel wears a nitride finish inside and out and spins a 1:7 twist, so it stabilizes everything from 55 grain plinking loads to heavier 77 grain match ammo. The muzzle device is pinned and welded to bring the rifle to 16 inches overall, which means you get the shorter sight radius feel and lighter front end of a 14.5 without any extra steps. A free-float M-LOK handguard leaves plenty of real estate for lights, sights, and hand stops.
This one skips the usual mil-spec filler. Inside you'll find an ALG ACT trigger with a clean, crisp break, a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, a nitride QPQ bolt carrier group, and ADM's own 10-position buffer tube with HD buffer for fine-tuned recoil behavior. Magpul's MOE-SL stock and MOE grip round out the furniture, and a 30-round magazine comes in the box. Chambered for 5.56 NATO, it digests .223 Remington just as happily, so feeding it never gets complicated.
