The 6mm BRA is what you get when you take the already excellent 6mm BR and give it the Ackley Improved treatment. Alpha Munitions opened up the shoulder to 40 degrees instead of the standard 30, which bumps case capacity while keeping that nice long neck shooters love. The result is a case that will push a 105-grain bullet to around 2,900 fps without hammering it with powder, so you get the velocity you want and the barrel life you'd expect from a well-behaved cartridge.
These cases come with a small rifle primer pocket and use Alpha's OCD, or Optimized Case Head, design. That technology is built to stretch primer pocket life and overall case longevity, even when you're running warm loads near the top of your node. For folks who fire-form and keep a case log, brass that holds its pocket after repeated firings is the difference between a tired lot and a set you can trust for seasons.
Alpha builds every piece at their Salt Lake City facility and inspects it on an in-house system before it ships.
