Every handgun deserves better than rattling around loose in a bag or a drawer, and the Allen 44413 Deluxe Handgun Case handles that job without any fuss. It's a soft-sided case built from durable black polyester with gray trim, roomy enough inside for handguns up to 13 inches long. That length covers a lot of ground, from full-size semi-autos to larger-frame revolvers, so most of what's in the safe will slide right in. The interior measures right around 11.75 by 5.5 inches, with outside dimensions close to 15 inches wide by 7 inches tall.
The foam padding is the real star here. It's thick and cushioned all the way around, so your pistol is protected from knocks and bumps whether it's riding in the truck to the range or stacked in the gun safe. The lining is a soft, non-absorbent fabric that wipes clean easily and won't trap moisture against your firearm, which goes a long way toward keeping rust and finish wear at bay over the long haul.
The zipper pull is set up to accept a small padlock, so you can lock the case shut for storage or travel. It's a simple feature, but it adds a layer of peace of mind when you've got the case out of your immediate sight. At roughly a third of a pound empty, it's light enough to toss in a range bag or carry on its own without weighing you down.
Allen has been making outdoor and shooting gear for decades, and this case is proudly built in the USA and backed by a one-year limited warranty. It's a no-nonsense, dependable way to protect a handgun you've put good money into.
This case holds handguns up to 13 inches in overall length, with an interior measuring about 11.75 by 5.5 inches. That's plenty of room for most full-size semi-autos and larger-frame revolvers. If you've got a compact or mid-size pistol, it'll have a little extra breathing room inside.
Yes, the zipper pull is designed to accept a small padlock so you can secure the case shut. Keep in mind the padlock itself is not included, so you'll want to grab one separately. It's a handy feature for storage or transport when you want an added layer of security.
The 44413 Deluxe is a soft-sided case made from durable polyester with thick foam padding inside. The foam does a solid job cushioning your pistol against bumps and scuffs, though it won't offer the crushproof protection of a hard case. For range trips and in-safe storage, it's a great fit.
The interior is a soft, non-absorbent fabric that's gentle on your firearm's finish and wipes clean easily. Because it doesn't soak up moisture, it helps keep condensation and dampness away from the metal, which cuts down on rust over time. Just make sure the gun is dry before you zip it up for long-term storage.
