When you're glassing a distant ridge or lining up on game and your arms start to shake, a shooting stick makes all the difference. The Allen Swift is a no-nonsense monopod built for hunters who want a steady rest without hauling extra weight. The aluminum body keeps things light on long treks, and the padded foam grip gives you a comfortable, secure hold when it counts. Folks who've spent real time behind it note that it holds its height setting well and stays solid even in cold, slick conditions, which is exactly what you want when you're set up on an icy bank or uneven ground.
The staff adjusts anywhere from 21.5 inches up to a full 61 inches, so you can dial it in for a sitting, kneeling, or standing shot. That range covers just about every field position you'll find yourself in, whether you're posted up in a blind or working across open country. It stabilizes rifles and crossbows alike, and the height flexibility means you're not stuck committing to one shooting style before you leave the truck.
Here's a nice bonus: the Swift Shooting Stick doubles as a camera staff. The top section is removable with a rotational attachment, which opens it up for glassing setups or photography when you're not behind the trigger. Just keep an eye on that top connection and give it a quick snug now and then, since the rotational fit can loosen with regular use.
At right around a pound with its matte black finish, the Allen Swift disappears into your kit until you need it. For the price of admission, it's a dependable, grab-and-go rest that earns its spot in the pack for deer hunters, predator callers, and anyone who wants a cleaner shot in the field.
The staff adjusts from 21.5 inches up to 61 inches, so you can set it for a seated, kneeling, or standing shot. That range makes it flexible enough for blind setups or open-country hunting where your position changes on the fly. You dial in the height right in the field, no tools needed.
It works well for both. Hunters use it to steady rifles and crossbows alike, and the padded grip gives you a solid, comfortable rest either way. The single-leg design makes it quick to reposition when you need to shift your aim.
Yes. The top section is removable through a rotational attachment, which lets it serve as a monopod for cameras and optics when you're not shooting. Just check and tighten that top connection occasionally, since the rotational fit can work loose over time.
It is. The aluminum construction keeps the weight down around a pound, so it's easy to carry on long hunts without wearing you out. Feedback from the field consistently points to how lightweight and packable it is.
