The ATI Strikeforce Gen 2 takes the classic Ruger Mini-14 and Mini-30 and drags it into modern territory without a bunch of gunsmithing headaches. It's built from DuPont extreme-temperature glass-reinforced polymer with aluminum and steel components, so it shrugs off heat, cold, and chemical exposure while adding a genuinely adjustable feel that the factory wood or synthetic stock never had. The heart of this stock is its adjustability. You get a six-position length of pull so it fits everyone from a smaller-framed shooter to a big guy in a heavy jacket, plus a removable, adjustable cheekrest with a half-inch of height tuning to get you lined up behind irons or an optic. The X1 style pistol grip with Sure-Grip texture gives you a solid, non-slip hold, and the X-Series thin recoil pad takes the edge off. The whole rear assembly side-folds to the left of the receiver for compact storage and transport, and yes, it can be fired from the folded position if the situation calls for it.
