The ATI Outdoors Strikeforce Gen2 takes the classic AK and drags its ergonomics into the modern era. It's built around a six-position TactLite adjustable stock, so you can dial in your length of pull whether you're in a t-shirt at the range or bundled up in a heavy jacket. The whole thing is molded from extreme-temperature glass-reinforced polymer, which means it stays put and stays solid whether you're shooting in the summer heat or the dead of winter.
The standout feature here is the side-folding mechanism. The stock folds to the left of the receiver to shrink your rifle's footprint for storage or transport, and because it clears the ejection port, you can still fire from the folded position when you need a compact profile. The updated TracLOCK Gen2 system tightens things up on the buffer tube, cutting out the horizontal and vertical wobble that plagues a lot of cheaper adjustable stocks. Adjustments feel smooth and lock up tight.
Comfort was clearly on the menu. The removable, adjustable cheekrest gives you about a half-inch of height adjustment to get a proper cheek weld behind your optic or irons, and the X-series thin recoil pad has a non-slip surface for quick, consistent shouldering and faster follow-up shots. Dual-sided QD attachment points let you run a push-button sling from either side, so lefties and righties both get a natural setup.
This stock fits most stamped AK-47 receivers and is made in the USA. It will not fit milled receivers, and it's not compatible with the M-70 or with rifles originally designed for an under-folding stock. Installation is straightforward on common stamped guns like the WASR series, though keep in mind that no two AKs are cut exactly alike, so a little drilling for the mounting screws and occasional minor fitting is normal territory. All the mounting hardware you need is in the box.
It fits most stamped AK-47 receivers, including popular models like the Romanian WASR-10. It will not fit milled receivers, the M-70, or rifles built around an under-folding stock design. If you're unsure whether your receiver is stamped or milled, check the sidewall of the receiver or your manufacturer's specs before ordering.

Most folks install it themselves in around 30 minutes to an hour. Expect to drill a couple of holes in the stock for the mounting screws, and know that some AKs need minor filing or fitting since no two are cut exactly the same. Take your time, avoid over-tightening the screws, and a little thread locker on the fasteners is a smart move.
This particular model uses the X-series thin recoil pad rather than a full recoil-reducing spring system. The non-slip pad softens shouldering and helps with quick follow-up shots, but if you want maximum recoil absorption, ATI's Scorpion-equipped packages go further in that department.
