The ATI Strikeforce AK-47 Side-Folding Stock Package in Gray takes a classic stamped-receiver AK and brings it into the modern era. Instead of buying pieces one at a time, you get the full setup in one box: a six-position collapsible side-folding buttstock, upper and lower handguards loaded with rails, and a Scorpion recoil-reducing pistol grip. Everything is molded from DuPont extreme-temperature glass-reinforced polymer, so it shrugs off heat, cold, and solvents without cracking or fading. It's made in the USA and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
The heart of this package is the TactLite Gen 2 stock, which folds to the left side of the receiver and can still be fired while folded. That makes storage and transport a lot easier without turning your rifle into a single-shot. The TracLOCK Gen 2 system takes out the horizontal and vertical wobble you get with cheaper collapsible stocks, so adjustments between the six length-of-pull positions stay tight and repeatable. There's a removable, adjustable cheekrest with half an inch of travel to dial in a proper cheek weld, plus a non-slip recoil pad and dual-sided QD sling points for lefties and righties alike.
The ventilated upper and lower handguards keep your support hand cooler during longer strings and give you four rail locations to work with: one 4-inch rail, two 2-inch rails, and a 2-inch rail with a swivel stud. Blank inserts cover the slots you aren't using so nothing snags. Up front on the grip, the Scorpion recoil system soaks up felt punch and the textured surface keeps your hand planted even with sweaty or gloved hands.
A quick heads up on fit: this package works with most stamped AK-47 receivers but will not fit milled receivers, under-folder guns, or the M-70 pattern. As with any AK furniture swap, no two rifles are identical, so a little light filing or drilling during install is normal. All the mounting hardware, including the steel T-nut and bolt, comes in the box.
It's designed for most stamped AK-47 receivers, which covers a lot of the common imports and clones. It will not fit milled receivers, under-folder rifles, or the M-70 pattern, since the M-70 uses a different stock attachment and a longer gas piston. If you're not sure which receiver you have, check before ordering.
Yes. The stock folds to the left side of the receiver and the rifle can still be fired in that folded position. That makes it handy for tight quarters, storage, and transport without having to deploy the stock first.
Because no two AKs are built exactly alike, some light filing or drilling is common to get every piece seated just right. Most people with basic tools and a little patience can handle the install, but if you're not comfortable working on your rifle, a qualified gunsmith can knock it out quickly. All the needed mounting hardware comes in the box.
