The Advanced Tech Strikeforce Gen2 is a side-folding replacement stock that swaps out your factory shotgun furniture for something far more versatile. It folds to the left of the receiver for a shorter, easier-to-store profile, and you can still fire the shotgun with the stock folded when you need to. Add in six positions of length-of-pull adjustment and this thing fits everyone from smaller-framed users to broad-shouldered folks running heavy layers.
The heart of this stock is ATI's TracLOCK Gen2 system. Instead of the wobble you get with a lot of collapsible stocks, the TracLOCK design locks out horizontal and vertical movement on the buffer tube, so adjustments stay smooth and the stock stays put once it's set. There's no secondary locking mechanism to fuss with, and the streamlined shape keeps things snag-free when you're moving through tight spots. Dual-sided QD attachment points let you run a sling from either side using push-button QD swivels.
12-gauge loads hit hard, and this stock is built to take the sting out. The 1-1/4 inch X2 recoil pad absorbs the felt punch and helps knock down muzzle rise for quicker follow-up shots. The X-series pistol grip carries a recoil-absorbing backstrap along with sure-grip texturing, which keeps your hand comfortable and in control through a long day of shooting. A removable, adjustable cheek rest helps you dial in a solid cheek weld, which matters if you're running an optic up top.
Made from DuPont extreme temperature glass-reinforced polymer, the body is scratch- and weather-resistant and built to hold up in rough conditions. It fits most Maverick 88, Mossberg 500/535/590/835, Remington 870, and Winchester 1200/1300 pump shotguns, and the necessary mounting hardware and adapter come in the box. The Flat Dark Earth finish gives it a clean, tactical look that pairs well with a matching forend. Note that Mossberg forends need at least a 6-3/4 inch action tube to work with this setup.
