The Advantage Arms AAC19-23G5MOD lets you keep shooting the same Glock you carry and practice with while spending a fraction of what centerfire ammo costs. It swaps the top end of your Glock 19 or 23 Gen 5 over to .22 LR, so your grip, trigger, and controls all stay exactly where your hands already know them. That is the whole point of a rimfire conversion: more trigger time, more reps, and a lot less money going downrange.
This is the loaded version of the kit. You get a 4.02-inch threaded barrel that's ready for a .22 can if you run one, plus an optics-ready slide with a recessed cut that accepts common red dot footprints using Glock MOS-style adapter plates. The plates and the red dot aren't in the box, so plan on sourcing those separately if you want to run glass. Two 15-round magazines and a padded range bag round out the package, which is a nice touch for a kit that's built to live in your gear bag anyway.
Rimfire is picky by nature, and this kit is happiest on high-velocity, copper-plated ammo. CCI Mini Mags in the 40-grain round nose are the gold standard here and shooters consistently report near-flawless runs with them. Pull your factory slide and mag, slide the Advantage Arms upper onto your stock frame, drop in a conversion mag, and you're shooting, usually in well under a minute. The magazines are proprietary to the kit and won't swap with your 9mm Glock mags, so grab spares if you like fewer reloads. Owners routinely mention the slide locking back on the last round and steel-ringing accuracy out to 25 or 30 yards once broken in.
