Adaptive Tactical ARKUS Adjustable AR-15/AR-10 Mil-Spec Stock, Black

Description

The Adaptive Tactical ARKUS is a straightforward, well-built upgrade for anyone running an AR-15 or AR-10 on a mil-spec buffer tube. It leans into an aggressive, modern A-frame profile with sharp lines, but the real draw is how solid it feels on the gun. An easy-to-reach rapid adjust lever lets you dial in your length-of-pull on the fly, and an integrated tube tension screw lets you snug things down to kill any play or rattle between the stock and the receiver extension. That anti-rattle feature is one of those small touches that makes a big difference when you're trying to get a consistent, locked-in fit.

What Makes the ARKUS Stock Worth Running

This one is made in the USA from reinforced, high-impact polymer, and it's intentionally over-built for the long haul. The high-grip non-slip rubber rear pad does two jobs at once: it helps soak up recoil and gives you a planted, repeatable shoulder contact that pays off when you're chasing accuracy. For AR-10 and other larger-caliber builds that kick a little harder, that rear pad earns its keep.

Sling Options and Fit on the ARKUS

Sling mounting is flexible here. The ARKUS features an integrated ambidextrous QD swivel attachment plus a rear vertical sling webbing slot, so you can set up a QD sling, a traditional loop, or run whatever carry method suits your build. It's sized for AR-15 and AR-10 rifles, or other platforms using mil-spec sized extension tubes, so it drops onto a standard setup without any fuss.

At right around 10.6 ounces with the pad and roughly 7.75 inches long, it strikes a sensible balance between durability and weight. If you've been dealing with a cheap stock that wobbles or sits in the wrong spot mid-session, the ARKUS is a no-nonsense answer with clean looks and a mechanism that holds its position.
