The Action Target TQ-15 is a full-size 25-yard silhouette target that a lot of departments and ranges lean on for qualification work. It runs 24 inches wide by 45 inches tall, so you get a life-size human profile printed in gray ink that stays easy to pick up at real training distances. If you have ever shot a qualification course, you have probably seen a target that looks a lot like this one, and there is a reason for that: the layout is built around center-mass practice and consistent scoring.
The gray silhouette gives you solid contrast without being loud, which helps you focus on shot placement instead of a bright bullseye pulling your eye. That matters for drills where you want to train realistic target acquisition rather than just punching one dot over and over. Cops, instructors, and folks prepping for their own qualification courses all reach for the TQ-15 because it mirrors the kind of target used in a lot of official standards, making it a great choice for practice before the real thing.
Targets are a consumable, and if you shoot with any regularity you burn through them fast. Getting them in a box of 100 keeps your cost per session down and means you are not scrambling to reorder mid-training block. These are printed on standard target paper meant for hanging, so they pair with any typical target frame, backer, or stapled cardboard setup you already run.
Whether you are sighting in a handgun, drilling controlled pairs, or running a full course of fire, the TQ-15 gives you a clean, repeatable silhouette to work against. It is a no-nonsense target that does exactly what it is supposed to, which is why it has stuck around as a favorite for training and qualification alike.
The TQ-15 is a 25-yard silhouette, which is a common distance for handgun qualification and center-mass practice. That said, you can hang it at closer or farther ranges depending on your drills. The full 24 by 45 inch size keeps it visible even when you back it out a bit.
The TQ-15 is a standard silhouette designed around center-mass training rather than a busy bullseye layout. The gray profile lets you evaluate shot groups and placement across the torso and vital zones. It is a solid pick if you want realistic target acquisition instead of aiming at a single dot.
The gray silhouette gives you clean contrast without a harsh, high-glare print, so your eye stays on shot placement instead of being pulled to one spot. Some folks prefer it for that more realistic, subdued look during training. Action Target offers both gray and black, so it comes down to personal preference.
Yes. These are hanging paper targets meant to be stapled or clipped to a standard frame, backer board, or cardboard. At 24 by 45 inches they cover most common range frame setups without issue.
